His paintings are full of strong light and colour, and they have an undeniable presence. But more than that they are truly captivating, not only achieving remarkable likeness, but a real sense of the subject’s inner world, something of their true essence.

He has been short listed for the Daily Mail’s Not The Turner Prize, commissioned by The Royal Marines, and has had work exhibited at The Mall Galleries in London. Gregory demonstrates for art societies and runs workshops in hotels, country houses and schools. “It was a fantastic day, great tuition all clearly explained and I came away feeling that I had learnt everything I’d wanted to achieve from the day. Also to see Gregory’s work in person was inspiring.” -Stuart Fowle   www.artonthehoof.co.uk

“Greg’s workshops are not just informative about techniques and materials but full of fun and encouragement for us lesser talented beings to have a go. Just watching his painting evolve is mesmerising and a lesson in itself.”  -Sheila, Tiverton Art Society

“We are delighted with the latest addition of your work to our collection! Once again you have managed not only to capture the essence of Buffy the cat, but also to have met a very tight deadline. Simply can’t thank you or praise your work enough. You are a truly talented artist and a very nice man! Now you have finished all our cats (6 in total) it’s probably time to move onto the family! Will be in touch about that very soon!!”

“Hi Gregory you did a picture for my grandparents of their dogs (buster and timmy). Im glad I found you website as I can inform everyone reading how amazing your pictures are.Gregory spent nearly 2 hours on a wet cold winters day taking pictures to capture the perfect shots of the dogs. Although he had alot of work at the time he managed to get the painting done in time for christmas, which was brilliant. When I gave my grandparents the picture they cried and said it was the best present they had ever recieved. It made their christmas. Thanks so much. Exceptional artist.” Luke H.
